This is a lovely pinot showing the fragrance and flavours of intense black cherry, spice and subtle smoke on an elegantly refined palate. There’s a balanced harmony of flavours and texture, just a lick of oak and, while good drinking now, there are enough firm tannins and cool-climate backbone to see it hold and improve over the mid term.
